Contribution Recognition
- FAR Contributors – are recognized in listings posted on the FAR website, in The FAR Letter, and at various conferences and programs sponsored by FAR. We also post hyperlinks to contributors’ websites as appropriate.
- Access to all FAR research – your support helps maintain nearly 100 current research programs, and helps provide access to information and reports from over 25 years of archived findings on plant nutrition, soil and crop management systems and other related areas
- Access to new information – view interpretive summaries
on our website as they are posted; receive timely updates
electronically; receive printed summaries annually; tap into
our database anytime for supporting information, photos,
references and more.
- Access to education programs – your support helps us provide numerous FAR-sponsored meetings and educational programs that are local, regional, national, or international in scope.
- Publications and reports – receive scientific information
from periodical publications and research project reports
issued by FAR and the International Plant Nutrition Institute
(IPNI).
- Tax deduction– because FAR is a Section 501(c) (3) notfor-
profit corporation, your contribution may be deductible
for income tax purposes. Seek advice from a tax consultant.
- Matching contributions– some companies have agreed to match employees’ charitable contributions to FAR. So if you work for one of these generous companies, the amount you contribute to FAR can actually be doubled. Let us know if your company provides such a matching program.
